This is a bit delayed reporting as it is Sunday and I was not able to cover what was happening on Fri and Sat.
Friday:
WA lost to Vic's No. 2 team 4/4 on on a countback on points. It was so close. On games they were also equal. They lost by 6 points. It could have gone either way.
Then in the afternoon, they played NSW 1. They lost 8/0 despite fighting all the way. NSW is the strongest team in the competition.
That meant they had to fight very hard in their other matches to have a chance for a medal.
