WA had a tougher morning today facing off a fiercely competitive Territories team.
The girls were finding it tough winning their singles and doubles game.
A 3 set loss by Daphne and Janice gave us an edge in case we went to points and sets as the matches were looking very tight.
WA ended with a 5/3 win. That was through the mixed doubles games again. The mixed doubles are crucial.
Good work players and management.
I am sure the players are doing well because they are well fed by Diane, Irene and Aminah. Good work to the parents.
Tomorrow they face a tough Vic 1. That will be a game to watch. If they lose to Vic 1 they go to the draw to probably play Vic 2 for a bronze medal.
If they beat Vic 1, they will play off for gold against NSW 1.
The last time Vic 1 was beaten by WA was in 2012 when WA went on to win silver.
Such pressure and high hopes.
