The day started with a semi finals match between SA and the Wasps. South Australia can be a challenge to WA. Last year, they beat WA to get bronze.
WA managed to beat SA 5/3 this time. Special mention needs to go to Cindy Lawrence who had a 3 setter yet again. Her fighting spirit keeps going and has helped WA stay ahead in games and points. Timothy and Joanne are also doing well after fighting a 3 setter.
All the other WAsps players are doing their best to stay ahead and should be congratulated for their fighting spirit.
That means WA goes to the finals with a chance of getting gold.
The young scorpions again had a tough time but went down fighting. They lost 5/3 to Queensland but can cold their heads high. Whatever they learn in this tournament will help them when they move up as Wasps.
