It was a tough day and a reality check for the Scorpions today. They lost 8-0 to Vic Demons who are seeded 1. All the games were lost in 2 sets. The Vic players are much older than the Scorpions. The Scorpions should not be too upset and treat this as a good experience.

The Wasps team had a better afternoon. They beat NSW 2, 8-0 which is a great result. Usually, we barely manage to beat NSW 2. However, this win shows how strong the Wasp team is compared to the other states. Good luck for when they meet NSW 1.
